Il Dufour 37, come il Dufour 470, suo fratello maggiore, vanta uno scafo in laminato ad infusione per un'adeguata gestione dei pesi, una maggiore solidità della barca e il rispetto dell'ambiente.
Grazie all'ottimizzazione dei volumi e ad una prua studiata per aumentare i volumi, il Dufour 37 dispone di una cabina armatoriale a prua molto spaziosa con notevole altezza libera.
Che si tratti della versione a tre o due cabine con ampio bagno, gli interni di questo modello sono molto luminosi grazie ai grandi oblò centrali posti sulla murata.
Il DNA Dufour è rimasto invariato: godersi gli ampi spazi da vivere all'aperto.
Sul Dufour 37 sono state introdotte le importanti novità che hanno contribuito al successo del Dufour 470: la disposizione della delfiniera, le grandi finestrature in coperta e sulle murate, la distribuzione degli spazi esterni che agevolano gli spostamenti in coperta la barca. Anche il pozzetto è più grande rispetto ad altre barche a vela di queste dimensioni.
In questo nuovo modello, come già avvenuto per gli ultimi modelli della gamma, si è privilegiata la vita all'aria aperta.
In termini di prestazioni marine, questa barca a vela vanta uno scafo moderno e stabile simile a quello delle barche da regata d'altura, ma con una parte inferiore dello scafo leggermente arrotondata che aiuta a tagliare le onde e riduce il rumore interno della barca.

The important innovations that contributed to the success of the Dufour 470 were introduced on the Dufour 37: the arrangement of the dolphin striker, the large windows on the deck and on the side, the distribution of the external spaces which facilitate movement on the deck of the boat. The cockpit is also larger than other sailboats of this size.
On this new model, as has already happened with the latest models in the range, priority has been given to outdoor living.
In terms of marine performance, this sailboat boasts a modern and stable hull similar to that of offshore racing boats, but with a slightly rounded lower part of the hull which helps cut through the waves and reduces interior noise of the boat.
